TUTORIAL: a furniture text effect

To get a text related to furniture, usually we choose a wood effect (at least if we are talking about wooden furniture).

To make this one, you have to go to this free text generator and make this configuration:
- Text: furniture (you choose your text);
- Font size: Big;
- Margin: 3;
- Background color: FFFFFF;
- Font name: Angular.

That's the image you get (click to enlarge):

Extra tips:
- I thought this font was perfect to use here, because it mixes edged and rounded regions, just like many furniture pieces are;
- if you don't like dark wood, modify the previous result: 20% more brightness and after 20% more contrast give you the image below. You can make this pos-processing using this image editor;
- you can use several great wood text effects if you go to this text generator catalog.

TUTORIAL: yet another Christmas text

Here I make the last Christmas text for this year, so let's do something different. In this text, the letters are composed by small ice stars.

You can get the result text by using this free text maker and configuring it like that:
- Text: Christmas (choose your text);
- Font size: Big;
- Margin: 3;
- Background color: 000000;
- Font name: PopstarsFill.

The final image you get is shown below (click to enlarge):

Extra tips:
- you can try other background colors, but, for this purpose, usually a dark one is the best choice;
- try other interesting text effects, including more ice effects, at this text generator catalog.

TUTORIAL: making one more Christmas text

Today we will make an effect that is not too flashy nor too discreet. This effect gives a resulting material that reminds me that mirrored balls used in Christmas trees.

To create the final image, use this free text creator and make these settings:
- Text: Christmas (or what you want);
- Font size: Normal;
- Margin: 3;
- Background color: FF4040;
- Font name: WalrusGumbo.

So we get a text like this (click to enlarge):

Extra tips:
- don't choose a very geometric font face (this kind of font is not suitable for a Christmas message);
- in this case, a green background can generate a nice result too;
- you can use several other chrome text effects starting from this text generator catalog.

TUTORIAL: another Christmas text effect

The first Christmas text we made was too discreet for many people. Today, let's make a very bright and illuminated one.

To make this effect by yourself, go to this free text effect and configure it this way:
- Text: Christmas (you can put the "Merry" before);
- Font size: Big;
- Margin: 3;
- Background color: it can't be used in this case;
- Font name: Juliet.

The text you get is like this (click to enlarge):

Extra tips:
- don't use small or thin font faces as input for this effect, because so much light can hinder readability;
- it was made using a very impressive glow text effect and, for this occasion, red light effects usually are good choices;
- try several other glow text effects by going to this text generator catalog.
