TUTORIAL: a holed mercury text effect

Today I tell you how to get a holed text made of mercury (or even melted chrome). Hope you enjoy this metallic text effect.

You can make it by opening this free metallic text effect and putting these values in its interface:
- Text: mercury (set as you wish);
- Font size: Normal;
- Margin: 5;
- Background color: FFFFA0;
- Font name: Rotondo.

After executing the software, it's the received result (click for a full size viewing):

Extra tips:
- in fact, I have used a silver text generator to create this effect;
- to get a holed text, I have chosen an appropriate font face. A font change can make you lose the holes and maybe the mercury appearance;
- there is no very special reason for the yellow background. My intention was to emphasize the metallic text. Try your own color composition;
- generate professional metallic texts by using this free set of online text effects.

Is there a text effect you would like to see here? You can ask for it commenting here or sending me an e-mail.
